This collection of subway images took several years and many different trips to NYC to create. As someone who has lived in Southern California my whole life the subway in NYC was a dark and mysterious place that was intimidating at first and then quickly became a fascination and maybe even borderline obsessive... These images were taken with pocket cameras and cell phones because I was told that photography in the subways was forbidden.
