You eyes roam over your baby's body noticing every detail...every fold, every strand of hair, the tips of their eyelashes, how soft their skin is...you watch those beautiful eyes get heavy and begin to drift off to sleep...you wish you could capture this moment and keep it forever. When I come to your home for the portrait we will schedule a time that is accommodating to you and your baby's nursing schedule. I do not use any additional lighting for these portraits. I use existing light (preferably window light). I use a high resolution digital back on medium format camera so I am able to shoot in low light if necessary. The only extra gear I bring is a tripod.
How you choose to dress is up to you. I can create wonderful portraits of mothers in pajamas, casual attire, topless, or even in the nude. However you are comfortable being photographed is what matters most.
I have experience photographing newborns, infants, toddlers, twins, and even tandem nursing mothers.
Geographic Location: My drive time to your home is included in the session price. This area includes the greater Los Angeles area and Orange County. I am located in Santa Monica and I will charge to drive West of Calabasas, North of Pasadena, or South of Irvine.
*I consider these portraits works of art and I'm asking that all of my subjects sign a model release so that I may use your image for art exhibitions, book publications, and self promotion.
